Coronavirus (Covid-19) Information

 

DELIVERIES

Thank you for placing your order with freedom.  In Auckland we have moved to Covid-19 lockdown Level 3 and our Auckland stores are currently closed.  Outside of Auckland all other stores remain open and will operate following the Covid-19 Level 2 guidelines.  Our delivery services continue as normal with contactless delivery procedures in place.  If you have any queries please reach out to your local store.  Whilst our stores are not open our teams are working to process orders and assist wherever possible.

Homewares Online Orders

Online orders will be processed as normal during this time however please be aware that our Carrier partners may experience increased demand which could cause delays.  

Click and Collect

Unfortunately we do not yet have the functionality to be able to offer Click and Collect however we are able to facilitate this option in a limited capacity during Alert Level 3 and 2 by accepting your online delivery order as usual and refunding the delivery fee upon collection from the store.    Please place your order online which will include the delivery fee, with your request for collection added to the delivery instructions field including your preferred pick-up store location.  Our online team will contact you directly to arrange the collection. 

Please be aware that we may not be able to process an order as click and collect in all circumstances as the product may be held in one location only and this could be in a different city.  We are also unable to provide click and collect for Furniture orders where the product is held at our Auckland warehouse.  In this instance the Online team will offer you the option of continuing with delivery or refunding the order in full.

Furniture Collection from our Distribution Centre

If your order is a customer collection from our Distribution Centre we will give you a call to arrange a pick up time or alternative delivery.

 

Furniture Collection from stores

Our store teams will give you call to advise when your furniture is available for pick up from store. This will be facilitated in a contactless manner.  

  • When visiting to site to collect your goods we request that you exercise caution and keep a distance between yourselves and our team members during interaction.
  • your products(s) will be placed next to your vehicle and and you will need to load the items in to your vehicle yourself.
  • Our Store warehouse teams will sign your order out on your behalf and will note Drivers Licence and/or Vehicle Registration as proof of delivery.

 

We regret that at this stage we are unable to  change an existing customer pick-up location.  

 

Ensuring Safe Contactless Deliveries

All deliveries will be contactless to comply with the latest government guidelines under alert level 3.  All of our carriers are adhering to their own strict health and safety guidelines which are in line with freedoms own in response to the Covid19 situation.  This includes:

  • frequent hand sanitation
  • daily vehicle cleaning
  • health and safety protocol for all team members

Contactless Delivery

Our Furniture delivery teams will keep their distance when performing the delivery - and will limit the amount of time spent within your home environment.

Unfortunately at this time we have suspended our sofa unwrap service for sofa deliveries and will also no longer remove packaging.
